The trick to make your lifestyle healthier is to make small changes in our daily life. There are many things you can do to ensure you are living a healthier life. With healthy food habits and daily physical activity, you are on road to a healthy and cheerful life. Drink More Water

Develop a habit of drinking at least 8-10 glasses of water each day. This is because water is essential to carry our body functions smoothly, remove toxins and carry oxygen and necessary nutrients around the body. Carry a water bottle wherever you go and eat raw fruits and vegetables that have high water content.

Get Enough Sleep

Sleep helps you keep your mind and body healthy. Most adults need 7-8 hours of quality sleep each night. Getting enough sleep is not about how many hours we sleep, but it’s all about how many hours we had a quality and sound sleep. Quality sleep helps us to stay active, feel fresh and happier.

Exercise daily

Make exercise a regular habit. Physical activity is very important for all age groups. It helps to burn calories assisting in weight management. Exercise offers many benefits like increasing life span, protection against diseases, managing body weight etc. It is advised to spend at least 30-40 minutes daily doing exercise.

Never Skip Breakfast

Many people think that by skipping breakfast, they will lose weight. But it does the reverse. Skipping your breakfast will lead to many health complications like Diabetes, Heart disease, Weight gain etc. Eating your breakfast will help you to jump start your day with all the essential nutrients to be active and productive thought the day.

Eat more fruits and vegetables

Include fruits and vegetables in your daily which are packed with all essential vitamins and minerals. Try to eat 5 servings each day. Also try bright-coloured fruits because they are rich in antioxidant properties. Free radicals present in our body can play a role in heart disease, cancer etc. Antioxidants such as Vitamin C and E help protect our cells from the damage the free radicals can make. Include fruits like Orange, Apples, Bananas, Blueberries etc and vegetables like Spinach, Tomatoes and Carrots etc in your daily diet.

Reduce Intake of Fatty Food

A daily diet high in fat will result in increase in body weight which will lead to many health complications. Although fats are important for good health and proper functioning of the body but when taken in large amounts leads to weight gain and cardiovascular diseases. Try to avoid consumption of saturated fats found in butter, ghee, cakes, fatty meat etc.

Reduce Salt Intake

High salt intake will lead to rise in blood pressure and eventually cardiovascular problems. Limit your daily salt intake to 6 grams per day to keep your blood pressure in check. Always look for a low sodium content salt.
